Reveal all radiation accidents, Labor says. 16/06/2006. ABC News Online

The Federal Opposition is demanding the public be told about all radiation accidents at facilities operated by the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO).
There have been four contamination incidents in the past week at Sydney's Lucas Heights reactor and elsewhere.
In one incident yesterday, a worker was splashed in the eye with radioactive material while cleaning up waste in a production area at ANSTO's plant at Camperdown in Sydney.
ANSTO describes the incidents as minor, but Federal Labor's environment spokesman Anthony Albanese says every incident should now be made public.
"There's got to be full public disclosure about all incidents," he said.
"It shouldn't be the case that they've got to be raised in Federal Parliament before the Government lets the community know what's happened in their own area. This is extraordinary."
