Linde sells Australian gas ops to Wesfarmers Energy for 300 mln eur -

FRANKFURT (AFX) - The Linde Group said it has agreed to sell Linde Gas Australia to Wesfarmers Energy Ltd for around 300 mln eur.
The disposal of Linde Gas Australia was one of the conditions imposed by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) on Linde concerning its acquisition of the BOC Group plc, which became effective on Sep 5, 2006.
Linde Gas Australia had sales of 61 mln eur in the financial year 2005.
A preliminary agreement for the sale of Linde Gas Australia to Wesfarmers Energy was signed on Nov 26, 2006.
