Iceland Commits to Hydrogen Power

celand has an enormous natural resource in their hot springs and flowing rivers which enable it to heat homes and businesses and provide electricity with hydroelectric power. Iceland is now committing to using that electricity to create hydrogen which, by the middle of the century, will be required for powering all of their vehicles. Their cheap electricity provides the perfect opportunity for generating hydrogen at low cost. As long as fuel cell development proceeds and makes hydrogen powered cars cost effective, Iceland could be well on its way to becoming a hydrogen economy.
