Hodgman's Hydro Backflip

Mr Hodgman has no credibility on the Hydro.
Minister for Energy David Llewellyn said that today Mr Hodgman has suggested the State Government step in to tell Hydro what buildings they can construct and where they should house their staff.
"Mr Hodgman is suggesting that the State Government take over management of the Hydro,” Mr Llewellyn said.
"Considering the Liberals campaigned to sell off the Hydro, this is a remarkable back-flip.
"Hydro is an independent Government Business Enterprise, and decisions such as where to house staff and how to trade in the National Electricity Market are issues for the Board and management of Hydro.
"Mr Hodgman's suggestion that the Government manage the daily workings of the Hydro smacks of old-style Stalinist central control.
"Mr Hodgman has no credibility on the Hydro. He doesn't understand the difference between equity and cash flow and he is trying to pretend that Hydro poses a threat to the State Budget when it is trading profitably." Mr Llewellyn said.
