Greens seek referendum on nuclear enrichment.

The Greens want a referendum on whether Australia should enrich uranium.
A Federal Government inquiry is considering the issue at the moment.
Greens Senator Bob Brown says if Australia sets up enrichment plants, it is logical that nuclear waste dumps would be established.
Senator Brown says it is a major decision on Australia's future.
"Australians should have a say in that - John Howard shouldn't just be listening to George Bush and having him dictate policy; he should be listening to the Australian people," Senator Brown said.
"This is such an important long-term issue for this country that John Howard should test it with the Australian people at a referendum."
Senator Brown was speaking after it emerged the US President George W Bush is pursuing a global nuclear energy partnership, which seeks to curb the expansion of uranium enrichment beyond nations that already have the capacity.
Mr Howard says he is not worried about the US development, saying he and Mr Bush do not consult each other on all decisions.
"I mean he's running his own country and I'm Prime Minister of Australia and we sort of go our separate ways - we don't talk to each other each few days," he said.
