No cash crisis at Hydro Tasmania

The Treasurer, Michael Aird, says there is no cash crisis at Hydro Tasmania.
“The Hydro’s board has made that abundantly clear,” he said.
“It is the responsibility of the board to look at options for the future and we would expect them to do that.
“The Government is aware of the options being considered. An equity injection has been discussed for several years.
“Any suggestion that the Government held the State election in March to avoid scrutiny of Hydro’s finances is simply ridiculous.”
